Westfälisches Bildungs- und Kulturzentrum e.V. has been a recognised independent youth welfare provider under Section 75 of Book VIII of the German Social Code (SGB VIII / KJHG) since 2017. We stand up for children and young people so that they can build social connections, learn pathways to participation and inclusion early on, and find opportunities to take part – with a clear focus on equal opportunities. We work with the State Youth Welfare Office (LWL) and the youth welfare offices of the Warendorf district, the City of Greven, and the City of Georgsmarienhütte.
Our cooperation with the Chancenstiftung has been running since 2021. So far, 100 children have already been supported through this partnership (as of 12.10.2026).
Our vision is for every young person in Germany to receive the best possible support and to leave school with a qualification and a firm belief in their own success – regardless of their background, income, or their parents' know-how. That is why we support children and young people from less privileged families with one-year educational scholarships. To date, we have been able to support more than 2,000 young people on their path to a successful and self-determined future. Click to visit the official website of the Chancenstiftung.
