Westfälisches Bildungs- und Kulturzentrum e.V. has been a recognised provider of independent youth welfare services under Section 75 of Social Code Book VIII (KJHG) since 2017. We stand up for children and young people so that they can build social contacts, learn pathways to participation and involvement early on, and find opportunities to take part – with a clear focus on equal opportunities. We work with the regional youth welfare office (LWL) and the youth welfare offices of the Warendorf district, the city of Greven and the city of Georgsmarienhütte.
In 2018-2019, Webikul e.V. ran two talentCAMPus programmes, one after the other, at its Greven and Warendorf locations.
Improving educational opportunities – regardless of social background: with talentCAMPus, the out-of-school holiday education concept of the DVV (German Adult Education Association), children and young people gain access to art and culture. talentCAMPus is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) under the programme "Kultur macht stark. Bündnisse für Bildung" (Culture Makes You Strong. Alliances for Education).
